My Approach: Parts Therapy
The Shadow and Internal Conflict
We often think of ourselves as one unified person, but looking deeper reveals numerous parts or “Selves” living within us. Some parts show up strongly in our personality: these are our Primary Selves, the aspects we identify with as “Me” and present to the world. Others remain hidden in what Carl Jung called the Shadow: these are our Disowned Selves, the unconscious aspects of ourselves containing repressed emotions, fears, desires, and even hidden talents that were buried beneath our awareness as we unconsciously learned which parts of ourselves were safe to express and which were not.

When we become overly identified with certain parts while rejecting or remaining unaware of others, we create internal conflict within ourselves. We might find ourselves stuck in patterns of self-sabotage, overwhelmed by stress, or unable to understand why we keep repeating the same behaviors. The inner “Perfectionist” drives us relentlessly while we ignore our need for rest. The “Inner Critic” judges us constantly while our creative self remains silenced. These Disowned Parts don’t disappear; they control us from the unconscious, leading to suffering.
The Method
My method is Parts Therapy: a therapeutic framework that views the mind as composed of multiple sub-personalities, each with its own feelings, beliefs, and roles. Within this framework, I work specifically with Voice Dialogue and Shadow Work.

Voice Dialogue, developed by Dr. Hal and Dr. Sidra Stone in the 1970s, is the primary facilitation technique I use. Shadow Work focuses on bringing those hidden, repressed aspects into conscious awareness where we can finally embrace them rather than being controlled by them.
This approach goes far beyond traditional talk therapy or intellectual psychoanalysis. It is an experiential and embodied process that engages your whole nervous system, not just your mind.
You don’t just talk about your parts; you physically experience them. I guide you in moving in and out of different parts of your personality, giving voice to each self directly. The learning happens at a somatic level. Your body holds the wisdom of these parts, and through this work, your entire nervous system learns and integrates, creating lasting transformation that mere cognitive understanding cannot achieve.
Each session follows what feels most pressing for you: whatever you’re struggling with, whatever part of you is calling out to be heard in that moment. This responsive approach ensures the work is always relevant and meaningful to where you are in your journey.
Each part gets to voice its desires, hopes, and fears, however politically incorrect or outrageous they might be. Whether it’s your Inner Perfectionist, Inner Child, Inner Critic, Inner Protector, Inner Rebel, or any other voice within you, each one is welcomed and heard.

By repeating this process of exploring and integrating your parts, we balance them energetically. This strengthens what’s called the “Aware Ego”—imagine it as a mountain ridge you’re walking along. At first, the ridge is narrow and you easily lose your balance, falling into complete identification with one voice. As your practice deepens, the ridge widens, allowing you to walk gracefully above your inner voices—aware of them, caring for them, yet no longer controlled by them.

Through this integrated approach, you move from being controlled by internal conflicts to consciously managing them. By giving voice to all your parts, including those that became hidden in the shadow, you gain deeper self-understanding and inner harmony.

I’ll guide you through the process as you step into these parts and let them speak. We’ll explore their fears and needs. By stepping in and out of these parts from your Aware Ego, you’ll get a first sense of the process and the freedom it brings.
Single Session
After your First Session with me:
Similar to the first session, I’ll guide you through the process and we’ll work with what you’d like to focus on at that moment. You’ll step into different “selves” and let them speak. As each voice is heard, you strengthen your Aware Ego, creating space for clarity and peace.
5 Session Package
After your First Session with me:
Over five sessions, we explore both familiar and hidden parts of you. This sustained approach allows you to uncover unconscious patterns, integrate disowned parts, and move toward lasting balance and self-understanding. Commit to your healing and save with a package rate.
10 Session Package
After your First Session with me:
